The Death Guard are ready for battle.
I had to cut a few corners to get them done for Saturday’s 40k release in the shop, but with Nurgle figs I think you can be a bit sloppy and still make them look good. I loosely followed the painting guide that came in the core box. I could have easily spent more time on these figs, I’ll come back to them at some point to pick out a few more details.
A few more colours added.
Next session I’ll slow down a bit and paint individual details.
Feels like I’m slowing down at this point and did not complete much in my last session. Next paint session I’ll paint bone bits.
I also got distracted painting figures for the Conan board game. When I finish this batch I’ll have minion figures painted for every scenario from the campaign book and basic game!
I’ve put the most effort into the cultists, cause I think they will be the most work. Always start with the hard stuff ;>.
A pot of coffee is on. Time for session three!
I have to get these guys done for June 17th. The release of 40k 8th edition. I’ll be using them for store demos. I’ll post my progress as it happens.
